It can be hard to give up control over something. And that is exactly what we do every time we go to get our hair cut or our nails done, or our dog groomed. We release control and trust that some 'professional' knows better than us. It's their job after-all, there must be a reason they make a living... right?

On TikTok, people are posting different examples of 'What they asked for' Vs. 'What they got' and considering most of these outcomes are not irreversible (except for maybe #14), they are pretty darn hilarious.

The whole trend started when @Kneelyknight posted a video showcasing the nails she had asked for and then the nails she got. Now people take this sound and use it for many other kinds of disappointing outcomes. It has become the go-to sound for this kind of trend.

Honestly, this one was probably the best of all of these examples. But it is true that @kneelyknight did not get what she asked for. She wanted more of a pastel shade, but that she got was much more neon and basically opaque.
